About the role

Tithely is seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of its unified technology platform for churches.

The successful candidate will lead product design from research and discovery through prototyping, testing, and launch. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create intuitive digital experiences across church management, online giving, messaging, and website tools.

This role also involves mentoring other designers, improving design processes, and using AI tools to explore ideas and develop better product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design, from discovery and research to final delivery.
• Develop user journeys, workflows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready interfaces.
• Design connected experiences across giving, church management, messaging, and web tools.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
• Plan and conduct customer interviews and usability testing.
• Analyse research findings and use them to influence product decisions.
• Simplify complex workflows and improve product usability and accessibility.
• Maintain reusable design components and shared UX patterns across web and mobile.
• Use AI tools and rapid prototyping to improve design workflows.
• Present design decisions and mentor fellow designers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of product design experience.
• Experience designing complex SaaS applications with multiple user roles and workflows.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating visual design, interaction design, research, and shipped products.
• Strong Figma skills, including reusable components, interactive prototypes, and shared design libraries.
• Experience using AI tools for product design, prototyping, or improving design workflows.
• Proven experience conducting qualitative research and usability testing.
• Experience collaborating with engineers on product development and design quality assurance.
• Ability to communicate design decisions and trade-offs to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience prioritising design work across multiple related product areas.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with church management software (ChMS), fintech, nonprofit software, or administrative platforms.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, FullStory, or Pendo.
• Previous experience mentoring designers or leading a collaborative design team.
