About the role

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable web and mobile applications.
• Build backend functionality using Node.js and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and server-side application logic.
• Build frontend interfaces using React.js and Next.js.
• Design, create and manage relational database structures using PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Work with Supabase and other technologies used in the company's development projects.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
• Optimise application performance, scalability and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues across the frontend and backend.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and product teams to deliver reliable features.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Follow software development best practices and keep up with relevant technologies.

Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Practical experience building full-stack applications with React.js and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of backend development, server-side logic and APIs.
• Experience building REST APIs, preferably using Express.js or similar frameworks.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Ability to design and structure databases from scratch.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms and client-server architecture.
• Production experience building and maintaining software applications.
• Ability to write clean, efficient and maintainable code.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Availability requirement:
