YouTube for course videos
Host your lessons on YouTube as unlisted videos and use them in your courses.
Upload and unlist
- Open YouTube Studio and click Create, then Upload videos.
- Select your video and wait for the upload.
- On the Visibility step choose Unlisted, not Public, then Save.
- Open the video, click Share and Copy.
- In your course builder paste the link into the lesson's YouTube link box.
Keep Allow embedding turned on or the lesson will not play. Your link is never shown on the course page; it is only used inside the protected player.
