Responsibilities

• Build new products and features from initial ideas, translating business needs into reliable, production-ready software.
• Own the complete engineering lifecycle, including problem discovery, system design, development, deployment and iteration.
• Design scalable and reliable systems, including backend architecture, data models, APIs and integrations.
• Collaborate with product, design and operations teams to define requirements and deliver meaningful results.
• Build and improve internal platforms, developer tools and AI-powered workflows.
• Use AI coding tools to accelerate development, improve productivity and solve technical problems.
• Make practical architectural decisions that balance speed, simplicity, performance and long-term scalability.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges while improving system reliability and product quality.
• Contribute to technical and product decisions in a fast-moving engineering environment.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

• At least four years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development skills and a solid understanding of backend systems.
• Experience designing, building and improving production software.
• Strong system design and software architecture skills.
• Experience taking products from concept to launch, particularly in a startup or fast-growing environment.
• An understanding of how user needs, business objectives and technical decisions influence product outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of backend architecture, APIs, databases and modern software engineering principles.
• Experience working with modern frameworks and selecting appropriate technologies for different problems.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code or similar tools.
• The ability to work independently, navigate uncertainty and take ownership of solutions.
• A hands-on approach focused on delivering, learning and improving products.
